Production Director about 2023 production strategy

The production of functional and durable furniture for hotel interiors requires a lot of work from employees, as well as a modern machine park. Our Production Manager, Michał Trómiński, is responsible for overseeing the production processes, creating our production strategy, and maintaining effective use of resources at BHM.

“I believe that good leadership is extremely important - ensuring the quality of managing the Team and the entire production hall. The high quality of the tools and the work itself is particularly important - our employees create unique products, which is why we make every effort to ensure that the continuously expanded machine park facilitates their work," emphasizes the Production Director.

The complexity of technological changes, and today still geopolitical volatility have caused instability and uncertainty in the furniture industry. “Paradoxically, it has also triggered new ideas and forced us to accelerate our development in new production areas. Thanks to this, our company is coping well in these crisis situations,” explains Michał Trómiński.

“Our chosen strategy and its consistent implementation is, in my opinion, the key to our success. The entire Team, not just the Management Board, must be aware of the direction in which the company is heading. Then consistency is needed for success. We have this rule for the entire company, but it is also followed by individual departments,” explains the Production Director.

At BHM, every day is a challenge. “Apart from the fact that we try to meet the expectations of our customers regarding our products, we also listen to what our employees say. They are very involved in the product development process and they also submit their own suggestions for changes - in terms of product improvement, but also in terms of work organization.

My overriding goal is to ensure that production employees are aware of their responsibility in building the company's image. It is necessary to raise their awareness because it is hard work, and as a result, the quality of our products, that we contribute to maintaining the high position of the company on the market. The production employees we employ are both men and women with high qualifications, although we are also open to cooperation with people who are committed to broadening their horizons”, emphasizes the Production Director.

One of the priorities included in BHM's activities is to care for the environment and ensure the rational use of natural resources. “Today, the strongest currency is clean energy. Since the beginning of the company's existence, we have placed great emphasis on the application of the ESG idea in our production processes, which undoubtedly translates into a competitive advantage. Energy management and commitment to environmentally friendly processes are key aspects for us. We try to operate as efficiently as possible. We use equipment with reduced energy consumption, we digitize production processes and we recycle wherever possible. Recycling not only brings savings to the company but above all, it is good for the environment. Using the 5S method, we maximize work ergonomics. We minimize storage costs and production stocks. We shorten the supply chain. We reduce the carbon footprint through the optimized transport of finished products. We make sure that our contractors feel that they are working with a responsible company,” explains Michał Trómiński.

In BHM, ESG rules are not empty words or ill-considered inventions of regulators, they are today an indispensable element of the functioning of the BHM enterprise. “BHM's production strategy this year will focus on even better use of our production potential, through more effective implementation of the ESG idea, and as a result, even greater customer satisfaction. We will continue to build upon everything we accomplished last year. The implemented products and numerous investments, including ecological, are of great importance and guarantee our success in the market. We keep our finger on the pulse and when new production standards appear or we see the need to go in a certain direction ourselves, we take specific steps towards it”, emphasizes the Production Director.
